On Wednesday evening, the Uganda Cranes team held a successful training session in Lome where the team has been in an acclimatization camped ahead of their World Cup Russia 2016 qualifier against Ghana on Friday October 7th in Tamale.
The first part of the recovery training after Tuesday’s international build up match against Togo mainly focused on retaining possession and quickly retaining it from the opponent once its lost before it switched to the utilization of wings and crossing of balls into the penalty area.
Goalkeeper Denis Onyango who didn’t feature in Tuesday’s game against Togo after joining the team late owing to flight delays today joined the team in training and was in good spirit as goalkeeping coach took him and his assistants Salim Jamal and Benjamin Ochan through the drills.
The team will tomorrow morning leave Lome and head to Tamale via Accra in time for the last team training at the venue of the game on Friday.
