David Accam Set For January Move To Stoke City

Ghana international David Accam is set to switch camp to the Britain after a stellar season in the MLS.


The Chicago Fire rampant forward has been training with the Potters for the past weeks and look set to join in the winter transfer window.


Stoke City endured an indifferent start to the 2015/16 Premiership but has found their rythm with blistering wins over the Manchester clubs.


The 25 year old Black Stars forward registered 30 impressive strikes in 62 matches for Helsinborg before heading to the MLS with Chicago Fire. The nomadic forward maintained his form in front of the goal post with 10 goals in 24 combined appearances in the MLS conference league for Fire.


The predatory instincts unleashed by the Ghanaian impressed management of Stoke City to have tendered in a bid for the 25 year old forward.


As reported by the Sunday Mail, Stoke City confirmed their interest in the quick feeted Ghanaian with a training programme so as to get first hand feel of the attacker. His arrival will increase the Ghanaian contingent in the Premiership that has the Ayew brothers, Jeff Schlupp, Baba Rahman and Joe Dodoo already flexing their muscles.
