Ghana maintained its 33rd position on the first FIFA ranking for 2016 released on Thursday for the month of January.
That means the Black Stars still remain Africa third best country behind Cote d’Ivoire (19th) and Algeria (33rd).
With the majority of the top teams enjoying a well-deserved break in the final weeks of 2015, the situation in the top 50 remains largely unchanged in the latest ranking.
Belgium remain top of the table while Argentina and Spain have also held onto their respective second and third positions.
