Give Kenichi Time - Herbert Addo

Former Accra Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo has called on the board of the club to give Kenichi Yatsuhashi time to build a formidable team.

The International Allies boss was sacked midway through the season last for a dismal performance, and Kenichi Yatsuhashi was named his successor in October last year.

His appointment has raised more questions than answers for the Phobians who has not won a league title since 2009.

The club has endured a torrid a pre-season so far, losing back-to-back to Al Ittihad in Tripoli and exiting the GHALCA Six invitational tournament in Sekondi without scoring a goal.

Board member Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has called on the replace him, but his predecessor has called on the board to keep him to build a good team.

“Is a matter of time. Maybe things might not be going well this time, but who knows? It could be better when the season starts,” Herbert Addo is quoted by Ghana Sports

“I think he needs more time and I believe things will change. You can see he is getting to know the team better now and things are going well as I believe he can take the team far when the season starts.” He said.
