Accra Hearts of Oak have made their second official signing in the offseason following the signing of Sekondi Hasaacas goalkeeper Samuel Akorugu footballcrusader.com can confirm.
The Phobians prior to the commencement of the G-6 Invitational tournament signed their first player in the person of Bismark Akrafi from Wa All Stars for an undisclosed amount.
Samuel Akorugu is the second goalkeeper of Hasaacas and according footballcrusader.com sources in the Club, was recommended by the technical team.
The goalkeeper signed a three-year contract with the Hearts of Oak after passing a medical on Tuesday.
He has since commenced training with his new colleagues.
Though little is known about the goalkeeper, this will come as good news for many Hearts of Oak fans who have been wondering when the team was actually going to add to their already existing squad.
Most of the new players used in the G-6 tournament have not yet been signed on by the Accra-based Club and it likely that some will be released back to their Club in the coming days.
