Ashgold stalwart defender Kadri Mohammed has officially filed in a transfer request with imminent switch to Aduana Stars.
The versatile defender starred prominently at the back in the all conquering Ashgold side that won the league trophy at the end of the 2014/15 FCPPL.
The highly rated defender has been strongly linked with a switch to Dormaa before finally submitting an official request to leave the reigning champions.
Initial reports linking Kadri with a switch to the Nana Agyemang Badu II park has been fueled by the much sought after defender with an official request to leave Obuasi.
A reported multi million bid from Aduana stars seems to have enticed Kadri to defect to the 2009 domestic champions.
It is not known yet whether the hierarchy of the reigning champions will sanction a move away from the Obuasi based side ahead of their return to continental football or try to persuade the defensive pillar.
Fans of the reigning champions were dreaming of a water tight defensive pair of Alfred Nelson and Kadri Mohammed ahead of the season.
