Ghanaian midfielder Muniru Sulley says he is primed to excel beyound the immense achievements of his big brother Sulley Muntari.
The 23-year-old who plays for Romanian club Steaua Bucuresti is determined to do even better in his professional career that Muntari, a former AC Milan star.
Muniru is however yet to grab the headlines as his big brother did when he was 23.
Muntari who now plays for Saudi Arabian club Ittihad had completed his move to Italian giants Inter Milan from Portsmouth and was an integral member of the Black Stars around this age of his younger brother.
Muniru however remains determined to surpass the mega achievements of his elder brother at both club and international level.
“He is my big brother and at the same time my role model,” he told TV3.
“He has achieved a lot in football – has played in the Black Stars and a lot of European clubs and had done well.
“So my aim is to like follow his footsteps and what he did with the Black Stars and still doing, and I am ready to do the same.
“I just have to like concentrate on what I am doing and pray and I think that I will be more.”
