Former Accra Hearts of Oak teen sensation Tawriq Jibril has refused to rule out an imminent call up to the national team, the Black Stars.
The nomadic midfield maestro has his eyes firmly fixed on the senior national team after rediscovering his best form with Egyptian giants Ismaily.
Tawriq Jibril stormed the Ghanaian football scene in his formative days with Accra Hearts Of Oak, before joining the exodus train to English side Portsmouth.
The quick footed Ismaily forward returned to Egypt after an unsuccessful stinct in Turkey but has since shown signs of his usual self with swashbuckling displays for the Premier league side.
The ex Hearts of Oak talisman revealed his long term ambitions of representing Ghana at the highest level as the motivation behind his rejuvenated form.
“It is my long term dream to represent Ghana at the highest stage and that is still intact.
“I believe with an improved performance for Ismaily here in Egypt, the message will get down to the handlers of the national team and I am bent on doing just that.
“I will have an incomplete football career if I end up not playing for the Black Stars at any stage in my career. I am not in a hurry but has not given up either.” Tawriq revealed.
The much talked about dribbling wizard highlighted his season’s performance despite Ismaily’s inconsistent form in the Egyptian top flight.
“I am rediscovering my old form and with the help of my team mates I am gaining my confidence at the right time.
“I have not given up on reaching the highest stage in world football and still believe I can build on my current form with some important goals for my club as well.” He noted.
