Kotoko"s Jackson Owusu Ruled Out of For The Rest Of The Season




Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder, Jackson Owusu will not play any part of the 2015/16 season which commences on Saturday February 20, 2016 after breaking his leg .


According to report on Kotoko’s official website, the former Berekum Chelsea player who suffered a grave shin injury early Sunday morning is ruled out entirely for the upcoming season.


Results of a scan conducted on Owusu’s shin shows that the player has broken both the tibia and fibula bones of his leg.


General Manager of Asante Kotoko, Mr. Opoku Nti has disclosed to  asantekotokosc.com that a surgery is expected to be performed on Monday.


“That’s the report the doctors are giving to us after examinations at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. He’s expected to undergo a surgery on Monday” said Opoku Nti.


Jackson Owusu is one of the 29 players registered by the club for the 2015/16 season. He joined Kotoko last season
