Pappoe Challenges Dogbe In February Featherweight Boxing Showdown




Issac Dogbe will be challenged by Micheal Pappoe in a feather weight clash at the Azumah nelson sports complex, Kaneshie in the much touted ‘Battle of the rising stars’ scheduled for February 20, 2016.


 


 


 


Issac Dogbe currently holds the WBO Africa and the WBA Pan-African Interim title will face off Micheal Pappoe who has shown glimpse of a rising star. The night is also accompanied  with 8 under-card matches which also features Samuel Antwi and Mohammed Odartey and other promising youngsters on the card.


 


In an interview with sportscrusader.com, the trainer of Issac Dogbe, Paul Dogbe emphasized how important the bout is to the champion in order for him to pursue his world title ambition, he said “Issac Dogbe is born-winner and ever ready to fight; he would knock down his Michael (opponent) in the sixth round”.


 


Micheal Pappoe told sportscrusader.com, he is poised for the upcoming bout as he seeks to snatch the WBO Africa and the WBA Pan-African Interim from Issac Dogbe.


 


The event promoted by Aborigenes Beach resort has promised to be a memorable night for boxing lovers as boxing takes center stage in a country where football is a dominant sport.


Boxing Fans will pay Ghc10 for the popular stands, Ghc20 for ring side and the VIP seats will charge Ghc50.
