A swimming training course was organized last week with a coach from South Africa coming to Ghana to aid the local elite coaches to be abreast with the modern techniques in the sport of swimming.
The workshop which was organized by International Swimming federation saw a coach from South Africa in Ghana to train various elite coaches who are already on level one international elite coaching to further graduate them unto the level two intermediary coaching.
The President of the Ghana Swimming Association Mr. Theophilus Edzie in an interview with sportscrusader.com said “the swimming training course was very fruitful,our coaches are now equipped with various techniques,it will be a gradually process of changing the face of swimming in the country”.
Last Saturday saw 23 coaches made the cut unto the next level,this will intend boost the ,to better their strokes and to further psyche the athlete into future competitions.
