Asare Baffour Crowned As February POTM Award In Cote D"Ivoire

Former Berekum Chelsea forward Stephen Asare Baffuor has been crowned the player of month for his Ivorian side AS Tanda in the February edition.


The 23 year old Ghanaian recorded three goals and one MVP in the month to earn the club’s most outstanding star performances.


The rampant attacker landed himself some cash prize and a shopping voucher for his attacking exploits on the Ivorian soil.


Baffuor, traded the Ghana Premier league for AS Tanda and has since extended his fine form onto the Ivorian top flight to earn the recognition of his club’s fan base and management alike.


The ex Berekum Chelsea lethal forward opened his accounts for his new paymasters with a brace before adding one more strikes to add to his MVP accolade in AS Tanda’s famous colours.


The high flying Asare Baffuor pocketed a brace on his debut for AS Tanda in a 4-0 thumping of Yapougon FC that also has Latif Salifu recording one of the other two goals as well.


The former Blues forward registered 12 goals and 4 assists for Solomon Odwo’s men across the 2014/15 FCPPL season before joining the exodus train to Ivory Coast.
