Discontentment Of The Elder || Ps. Paula White

According to Miriam-Webster Dictionary, to be discontent means “not pleased or satisfied.”

One comes to that point in their life where enough is never for them. No matter how much money we have, we crave for me. We are never satisfied. And in a fast growing generation like this, where almost everyday inflation skyrockets, pressure from family members increases and so on, we have no other option but to crave for more of what is needed to meet up with the depends on our life.

The prodigal son is that story in the bible where anyone like you and I would easily jump into judgment to say he did not do right with what he did. Should he have asked his father to give him the portion of his property and start a life of his own? Did his father not treat him well? Was he not living in affluence? When are we ever going to be satisfied with what God has blessed us with and not be envious of our fellow brethren?

I know the hypocrite will say “I could never have done such a thing”. When the reality of the matter is, “you’ve got some skeletons in your closet.”

Like you and I, we are no different from him.

Listen to Pastor Paula White preach a touching and life changing message to shake up your faith and get you right where you ought to be in Christ on the second night of Impact 2015 , Action Chapel International, Spintex Road.

Be blessed.
