Dreams Football Club coach Charles K. Akunnor, says the team is not under pressure to continue their blistering start to life in the Ghana Premier league (GPL).
The Kwaiman-based Club has been on a scintillating form since making their debut three weeks ago, winning two out their three matches.
They will host Wa All Stars on Saturday at home and expectations are high, but CK Akunnor insist they are not under any pressure to win.
“We are very fortunate to have started well, we are very happy at where we are, but if a win comes fine. If it doesn’t we continue to work. We are not under pressure whatsoever.” the former Hearts of Oak boss said on a pre-match press conference on Friday.
”When we were about to start the season we didn’t know where or what was in hold for us or what the future will bring but as at now we are third, we have not lost a match. We’re happy and content with what we have but I believe if we work very harder we will achieve a lot in a very short time.
”And so, we’re looking forward to any other game like come Saturday’s match. We’re looking forward to it, we know the players are aware of the opponents, how strong they are so we’ll have to prepare mentally, physically to face those challenges.” he said.
Dreams has seven points from 3 games and win will move them to the summit temporarily.
