Edwin Gyimah Stars In Pirates Slim Defeat At Bidvest

Black Stars explosive midfeilder Edwin Gyimah maintained his fine form for Orlando Pirates in their 1-0 defeat to second place Bidvest Wits in the Professional Soccer League (PSL).

The hard tackling midfielder again starred conspicuously for the rejuvenated Pirates across the 90 minutes as they succumbed to a lone strike from English forward James Duncan Keene.

The former Wa All Stars versatile midfielder put an early caution aside to stamp his authority on the game but ended up on the losing side.

Gyimah, who has been named in the Black Stars squad for the double header against Mozambique, has been on a sensational form all season for his Orlando based PSL side across the 2016 South African top flight.

Pirates remains a distant 20 points away from the top of the log but their current state of affairs put them back in contention for the domestic championship glory.

The midfielder has since managed 16 appearances under his belt in the PSL for the sixth placed Buccaneers.
