Eric Bekoe, Sadick Adams In Line For Black Stars Call-up

Report reaching SportsCrusader.com indicates that Black Stars Trainer Avram Grant could look to either Berekum Chelsea forward Sadick Adams or Hasaacas’ Eric Bekoe to replace injure David Accam as Ghana prepare to face Mozambique in an AFCON 2017 qualifying double header.

Accam, who was part of Grant’s 23-man squad for the March 24 and March 27 encounters, has now been ruled out due to a knee injury he picked up while playing for his MLS club Chicago Fire.

The diminutive attacker is expected to be out of action for the next two weeks and the Black Stars boss is looking up to the Ghana Premier League for potential replacement.

SportsCrusader has gathered that the former Chelsea and West Ham Manager is a huge admirer of Eric Bekoe where as Sadick Adams has been recommended to him by some members of the Black Stars Management Committee.

It is however unclear who among the two strikers Avram Grant will hand a call up to although Eric Bekoe looks to be in Pole position.

Both Bekoe and Adams have scored three goals so far in the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League.
