Liberty Professionals’s Assistant Coach, Felix Aboagye has stated that midfielder Latif Blessing is the right player to build a team around.
The attacking midfielder took his goal tally to 2 in 4 league matches this season when his lone strike sealed all 3 points against newly promoted Techiman City at the Carle Reindorf Park on Sunday.
The 18-year old playmaker was handed Liberty’s iconic number 10 jersey and according to Felix Aboagye, the player has displayed the right attitude and qualities required to lead a team.
“A couple of seasons ago we built our team around Kennedy Ashia who was inspirational with his leadership but unfortunately he has departed for Sudan. We are looking to build our new team around Latif Blessing who last season was a revelation in the league”, the former Ghanaian international told Citi FM in Accra.
“He has been working extremely hard to ensure that he is ready to carry this team forward. He is a classy player and on any day he can destroy any opponent,” he added.
