Football Fans Urged To Patronize MTN FA Cup Matches

The Cooperate Services Executive of Ghana’s leading Telecommunications Company, MTN, Mrs. Cynthia Lumour has called on football fans in the country to patronize the 2015/2016 MTN FA Cup.

That according to her will enable the clubs to generate revenue to run their affairs as well as attract sponsorships.

Speaking at the Grande Lunch and Round of 64 Draw of the 2015/2016 MTN FA Cup, Mrs Lumour also reiterated her outfit’s commitment towards the development of football in Ghana.

“Because a fundamental objective for MTN is to make life a whole lot brighter, MTN will continue to find different ways to support sports development in Ghana. Indeed, we have already demonstrated that with the FA Cup sponsorship and other club sponsorships” she said.

“We like to take this opportunity to encourage the support base of all the various clubs to do more to support their clubs.

“Supporting our clubs mean we must fill the stadia for matches all around the country. It is from such demonstration of support that the players derive motivation and the clubs generate revenue and attract sponsors”, Mrs. Lumour added.

The NTN FA Cup Round of 64 which involve all 16 Premier League teams along with 24 teams each from the Division One and Division Two Leagues will be played on Easter Weekend across the country.
