Ganiu Hands Wa All Stars Injury Boost Ahead Of Edubiase Visit

Wa All Stars hopes of returning to the top of the log have been boosted by the return to fitness of talismati centre back Ismail Ganiu.


The talented defender missed the trip to Dawu after limping off at home to Liberty Professionals in a 0-0 stalemate.


The teen sensation has been one of the star players for Enos Adepa Kwame’s side in as they continue their strong start to the 2016 GPL season.


The former Wa Anokye Stars centre back left the pitch in tears after landing awkwardly in the second department of their cash with Liberty on match day two which forced him to miss the much fancied trip to the Theatre of Dreams.


The Ghana Youth international has been one of the key cogs for the second place Wa All Stars in the last two seasons and his arrival has been received with sheer delight ahead of the arrival of New Edubiase on Sunday.


Defensive partner Joseph Adjei compounded the plight of Wa All Stars when he also limped off in their 1-1 drawn game to Dreams FC.


Wa All Stars could return to top of the log with a convincing victory at home to the Yenko Nkoaa boys if results elsewhere go their way.


The rampant forward will be leading Ebusua Dwarfs in their search for a first victory of the season when they clash with Bechem United over the weekends.


The mystery club saw their match day four fixture against Medeama postponed to March 23, 2016 to make way for the Mauves CAF assignments at home to Ahly Tripoli in the confederation cup.
