GPL Match-Day Five Preview: AshantiGold v Aduana Stars

Defending Champions, AshantiGold are one of four clubs undefeated in the four game old Ghana Premier League (GPL) and they will seek to get that record intact when they play Aduana Stars on Saturday.

The Miners will welcome Aduana Stars to the Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi and will be favourites to collect the points at stake against one of their bitterest rivals on the local scene.

Some of the pressure on Coach Bashir Hayford has eased following improvements in results, and, they will look to build on this as they go into their third home game of the season.

They will hope to win and put pressure on those above them as the 2015/16 GPL gathers momentum week-after-week.

Aduana Stars won their first game of the campaign last weekend, and will have something to say about this. The win over WAFA was welcome news to their fans who will hope for another good fresult in this difficult away assignment.
