Hearts" Soulama In Burkina Faso AFCON 2017 Qualifier Squad

Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Abdoulaye Soulama has been named in the Burkina Faso national team squad for this month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper is among the 25 players called up by head coach Paulo Duarte for their double header against Uganda.

The first leg will be played at the Stade du 4 Aout in Ouagadougou on March 26 before the return leg in Kampala three days later.

The 33-year-old was first choice goalkeeper at the 2013 Cup of Nations in South Africa but a red card in the group stage demoted him.

In his absence, Hearts of Oak will depend on Samuel Akrugu to safe the situation in case of any uncertainty.
