Current Vice Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Isaac Koomson has mentioned he’s been irrelevant since he took office.
Koomson is contending for the chairmanship position along with other four candidates including incumbent Alhaji Raji – who Koomson has accused of side lining him in terms of assigned duties during his presence and absence.
And this has been a motivating factor for which he has decided to pick up forms and contest the high seat and cleanse the bad image that association has lately made for it self.
He said, “ask what function or role has been assigned me especially in his absence that I’ve not excelled?. Every member and executives as well have duties they are accountable for but as a Vice Chairman what are my duties and what do I account for?
“It’s always clear your potential is subdued if the chairman doesn’t side with you and every positive idea is trashed out,” he added.
The GHALCA elections is slated for April 21 and the new executives will be sworn into office on April 28.
