Kofi Nti Boakye Joins Nigerian Side FC Ifeanyi Ubah

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Kofi Nti Boakye has reportedly signed for Nigerian Premier League outfit, FC Ifeanyi Ubah after failing to seal a deal to play for an un-named Ghanaian top flight side on deadline day.

According to reports, the veteran goal poacher wanted to revive his career in the Ghana Premier League after a series of unsuccessful stints outside the country since 2013.

Nti Boakye signed for Libyan outfit Ahli Tripoli two seasons ago, but had to terminate his contract due to the political instability in the North African country.

He then joined Egyptian outfit misr el makasa but was forced to terminate his contract due to a reoccurring injury late last year.

He had a trial at South African Premier League side Ajax Cape Town last April, but could not reach a deal with the club due to his fitness level.

Reports say Kofi Nti Boakye has signed an initial 6months deal with Ifeanyi Ubah with the option of a long term depending on his fitness levels.
