Newly promoted GN Bank Division one side Nzema Kotoko has contacted Malam Yahaya as a replacement for the departed Stephen Botchway.
The struggling second tier newbies mutually parted ways with their former trainer after a dreadful start to the season that includes four defeats in a row and an exit from the MTN FA cup.
Stephen Botchway sealed promotion for the Nzema based side but has since endured a nightmare debut in the ongoing GN Bank division one campaign.
Nzema kotoko failed to extend its imperious form in the division II league onto the second tier culminating in three successive against Corner Stones, Dunkwa United and Elmina Sharks to add to their FA Cup crushing at the hands of Samartex.
Management of the struggling Division one side cut short their two year association with their former trainer and has since secured a deal with Malam Yahaya for the remainder of the season.
Malam Yahaya, a former Achicken FC, King Faisal and RTU trainer is expected to sign a new deal with Nzema Kotoko ahead of match day four of the ongoing GN Bank Division One league campaign.
Botchway joined Nzema Kotoko as a Division II before steering them to a division one status at the current campaign.
