MTN FA Cup: Liberty Skipper Hails Outstanding Latif Blessing

Liberty Professionals skipper Samuel Sarfo has hailed team mate Latif Blessing after the youngster’s outstanding performance to ensure that the Dansoman based side eliminate Medeama from the 2015/2016 MTN FA Cup.


The Scientific Soccer Lads had initially went down in the first half through Abass Mohammed’s strike but Latif, 18 equalized for Liberty in the second half to take the tie to penalty shootout.


The Dansoman based side went on to win the Round of 64 tie 5-4on Penalties to progress to the next stage of the competition.


Speaking in an exclusive interview with SportsCrusader.com after the game, Skipper Samuel Sarfo rated Latif Blessing as the most important player in the game.


“Looking at his [Latif] height and that of Medeama players and was still winning area balls And weaving through them, it was amazing. He was far above average and I rate him 70%”, Samuel Sarfo said.


Latif Blessing has been in impressive form for Liberty Professionals so far this campaign and has scored 3 goals in 6 games played.
