Techiman City FC midfielder Mohammed Iddrisu has promised to inflict first injury of the season on Dreams FC when they meet on Sunday at the Nana Ameyaw Park, on Sunday.
The 18 year old defensive midfielder rallied fans of the Brong Ahafo based premier league side to storm the Park in their numbers as they halt Dreams FC’s unbeaten run to the season.
The teen sensation saw his explosive start to the season dented by a nasty clash with Berekum Chelsea’s Asiwome Fumador on the opening day of the season but has since returned to competitive action for Coach Yussif Abubakar side.
Mohammed, who played a starring role for the Premiership newbies is relishing the prospect of flexing muscles with CK Akunnor’s talented players when they go head to head at the dreaded Nana Ameyaw Park.
The hard tackling midfielder leaned on the teaming fans of the home side and their impressive start to life in the premiership as enough to force defeat down the throat of Dreams FC.
“We are ready for Dreams FC on Sunday and will force a first defeat of the season on them.
“We are more than prepared for Dreams FC as a unit especially after our defeat to Liberty Professionals the last time out.
Our fans have beeen fantastic and we expect them to come in their numbers to cheer us on come Sunday. We have the best of support of supporters so far and I believe sunday will not be different”, Mohammed told sportscrusader exclusively.
Techiman City booked their place in the 2016 GPL after an impressive run the second tier league in zone I.
The Brong Ahafo based side have since won two of its opening home matches by a lone goal each while loosing two successive matches to Hasaacas and Liberty Professionals away from home.
