The Acting Chief Marketing Officer of Ghana’s leading Telecommunication Company – MTN, Mr. Noel Kojo-Ganson has revealed that his outfit is happy with the mileage they are getting by sponsoring the FA Cup.
MTN have been the Headline Sponsors of Ghana’s FA Cup since the competition was re-introduced on the country’s football calendar in 2010 and Mr. Kojo-Ganson believes the partnership will be there for a long time to come.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with SportsCrusader.com after the Grande Launch and Round of 64 draw of the 2015/2016 MTN FA Cup, Mr. Kojo-Ganson minced no words in expressing his delight about his outfit’s partnership with the Ghana FA.
“We [MTN] are very happy as a business with the sponsorship platform that we have with FA Cup”, He said.
“It was quite refreshing to hear from the FA President that 6 years ago when they re-lunched this brand, we’ve actually come on board and supported them to this day.
“As a business, we’ve got the mileage and the leverage out of this sponsorship platform in terms of our intension to support the development of Ghana through various pillars.
“By and large you can see there is great success, there is growth and there is support from the committee members as well as the supporters and the various clubs involved”, Mr. Kojo-Ganson added.
Commenting on the future of the FA Cup Sponsorship, Mr. Kojo-Ganson said, “Since Football is the passion of the nation, we will continue to support it and make it a much better competition”.
