Bonus For Black Stars Management To Be Paid Soon

President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi has revealed that outstanding honorarium of the Black Stars Management Committee members for recent 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Mozambique will soon be settled by the Sports Ministry soon.

Reports in the media were that Sports Minister, Nii Lantey Vanderpuije, had refused to pay up to seven management members of the Black Stars, despite paying all outstanding winning bonuses to the players.

But speaking in an interview with Starr FM in Accra, Mr. Nyantakyi explained that, the delay of the payment of the honorarium was just temporal.

“I don’t think there is an abolishment of that policy. We have saught explanations from the Ministry and we have been told that at the time of payment there was not enough money, so management will be paid later,” The Ghana FA boss stated.

Meanwhile, Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuije has revealed that his Ministry are on the verge of clearing all outstanding bonuses owed all national federations.
