Deja Vu: C.K. Akunnor Meets Michael Osei Again

Dreams FC will host Kumasi Asante Kotoko in match week 8 header at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ popularly referred to as the Dawu Park.

The value of the game has been spiced up by the technical men heading either side – C.K. Akunnor for Dreams and Michael Osei for Kotoko.

In the 1990s, Osei played for Kotoko against Okwawu United and C. K. Akunnor was as a player in one of the then cagey and ‘big’ games in the Ghana premier league. Both contributed their quota to the national team (Ghana Black Stars) when they were called upon for national duties.

Neither perhaps did foresee this present situation (both as coaches) back then but will relish the chance of claiming superiority when they lead their teams out onto the Dawu park on Wednesday with Kotoko desperately looking for consistency with results whilst Dreams FC know a win and other favourable results will see them move to second place.
