Dreams FC has explained that the reason for the hike in gate fees ahead of their game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko, is to ensure effective organisation of the high profile game.
According to the Dawu based, they would like to get things right in their debut season in addition to their quest to guarantee spectators of high, quality and assured security has increased the gate fees for the visit of arguably Ghana’s biggest club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
“Management of Dreams FC in arriving at the rates for the various stands made several considerations, vital amongst them being how to ensure the safety of each and every individual and property in and around the Dawu Park for this game,” the club wrote on their website.
The statement added, “Signals picked up by the football club suggests a huge attendance for this game even though it’s being played on a midweek.”
“And due to the limited capacity of the Dawu Park, it is important to ensure effective measures are put in place – including pricing of tickets – to guarantee the safety of the huge numbers expected to turn up.”
“It is for this reason and other considerations that management arrives at the following rates for the various stands at the Dawu Park for the game against Asante Kotoko:
Popular Stand. – GHC 15.00
VIP Stand. – GHC 20.00
Presidential Wing – GHC 25.00
