GN Bank DOL: Roberto FC Wont Settle For A Draw Against Amidaus

Chairman of newly promoted GN Bank Division One League side, Roberto FC, Mr. Robert Gbloekpor, has said that his club will not go in for a draw against Amidaus Professionals, as the two sides prepare to face off at the Tema Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Amidaus Professionals have had a poor start to the season, recording just one win and a draw in their opening six games of the campaign and are currently lying 15th on the Zone Three League log.

Roberto on the other hand are currently 6th on the log with 10 points, but are yet to taste a defeat after recording two wins and a draw in the first six games of their debut season.

But despite the contrasting fortunes of the two sides, Roberto FC Chairman, Mr. Gbloekpor said his side will not underestimate Amidaus on Wednesday.

“We’re not looking at their position on the table. It’s football and we’ve played teams that are lower on the table”, he said in a pre game interview.

“We won’t be complacent at all. All we want to say is, we are bringing home 3 points. The draw at home against Sporting Mirren[on match week six] was not a good result for us so we’re going for it at Tema.”, Mr. Gbloekpor added.
