Accra Hearts of Oak will be without Isaac Oduro (foot injury), Evans Agbesi (back injury), Thomas Abbey (rib injury), Richard Yamoah (knee injury) and Samudeen Ibrahim (ankle injury) for this encounter as they seek their first win in four games.

Musah Inusah has returned to training but is unlikely to be called back into action so soon after his recovery.

Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi will likely include Robin Gnange, Soulama Abdoulaye, Samuel Yeboah, Mustapha Essuman, and Isaac Mensah after he left them out of their FA Cup defeat to Samartex at the weekend.

WAFA will be expected to come in with a clean bill of health as they seek their first away win of this season’s campaign.

MATCH PREVIEW:

Accra Hearts of Oak will welcome West African Football Academy (WAFA) to the Accra Sports Stadium in a Match-Day Eight fixture of the 2016 Ghana Premier League (GPL) on Wednesday.

The Phobians will seek to get back to winning ways after their shock exit from the MTN FA Cup competition at the hands of first tier side, Samartex FC.

Hearts are second on the league log, and have not won in the competition in their last two games, losing to All Stars in Accra and drawing with Techiman City in Techiman.

WAFA are sixth on the table but have lost all their away games this season. They will look to score their first away points of the campaign in this fixture.

The Academy boys gave the Phobians a tough game on the opening day of last season’s encounter before eventually losing 0-1. The return fixture at their home, ended goalless, and in all competitive games, they have never had the better of Hearts of Oak.
