Interim Asante Kotoko Assistant Coach, Godwin Ablordey, says the technical team were aware of the threat of Dreams FC in the eighth week league game last Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors recorded their first away win of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League (GPL), when they travelled to Dawu to face Dreams FC.
Dauda Mohammed scored the only goal of the game early in the first half and neither side could score again after 90 minutes.
And Ablordey, who was excited with the result said they had enough information about Dreams and took advantage of the weakness of the team.
“We had information on Dreams FC, how they play and others, as we had been following them ahead of the game. We devised a plan and it worked perfectly,” Ablordey said in post-match press conference.
“We have now won two games, which is a sign of good things so we are hoping to build upon it as the season continues,”
Asante Kotoko currently lie 8th on the league log with 11 points. They will battle struggling New Edubiase United on Saturday.
