Asante Kotoko held a meeting with target Emmanuel Osei Carlos at the club’s secretariat on Thursday, Sportscrusader.com can confirm.
The Porcupine Warriors wrote to Ashanti Gold to enquire about the services of the creative midfielder and he was given the permission to talk to the General Manager of the club, Opoku Nti last week.
The meeting was a success and the Miners replied Kotoko’s letter, and confirmed their readiness to meet at the negotiations table.
It is unclear what transpired during the meeting between the two clubs, but the player was released to hold further negotiations with the management of Asante Kotoko.
According to sources, Osei Carlos agreed personal terms with Kotoko, and the record Ghana Premier League (GPL) champions are confident he will be a member of their playing contingent by the close of the transfer window.
