Emmanuel Akuoko Fires Title Warming After Liberty Scalp

Aduana Stars experience defender Emmanuel Akuoko has warned rivals in the Ghana Premier League to be wary of stern test from their end after a turbulent start to the season.


The robust defender eased bus way back into the first team action of Aduana Stars after a lengthy injury but has already reveled harbouring a lengthy dream of finishing the season with a winner’s medal.


The crocked utility defender missed the opening matches of the campaign but has already to feature in the last 5 fixtures for the Dormaa based top flight campaigners.


Emmanuel Akuoko commended his colleagues for their sustain unity that saw them end a run of three straight defeats in the opening matches of the season.


“the secret behind our new form has to go down to the unity we have in camp. It has been massive and remains one of the integral parts of our form so far.

The versatile defender who can also play as a defensive midfielder further added, “I thank God for my return to first XI and with our current form I see no reason why we cannot win the trophy at the end of the season.

Aduana stars have been boosted by the goal scoring form of Yahaya Mohammed who has scored six goals in his last 3 matches.


The 2009 league champions next play Dreams FC after their 2-3 away triumph to Liberty Professionals as they continue their upward rise on the log.


Aduana stars are 4th on the log and are on a three match winning run including 1 defeat in the last 7 matches.
