Inter Allies were held to a one-all draw at home by Ashanti Gold on match week 12 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Tema Sports Stadium.
Substitute Frederick Boateng scored on the bourt give the home side the lead, but it cancelled by Mohammed Dauda from the spot kick three minutes later. There nothing more.

Neither side created any meaninful chances, though Inter Allies had the best chance which fell the way of Ropapa Mensah in the final stages of the first half.
Gockel Ahortor lobbed in a descent ball from midfield which caught the defence of the Miners watching on, and Mensah raced on to win the battle with Nti Mensah.

Allies began the second half better and pulled all the strings needed to cause havoc. Their fight paid dividends when Ropapa Mensah sent in swinging cross from the right flank. Kadri Mohammed and Nafiu Awudu failed to deal with it, and Frederick Boateng powered home the opening goal.

He took responsibility and made no mistake. Either side could have won the game considering the chances they had, but it ended in a stalemate, extending Allies failure to amass all points to five matches.
