The Sportscrusader.com team of the week is an initiative introduced by the fastest growing sports web portal in Ghana to demonstrate how Ghanaian players perform for their various clubs abroad.
To set the records straight, as we have always done, players are selected based on the following criteria:
1. The Coefficient of the league they play
2. The competition they are in (If they are not playing league matches)
3. Consistency
4. The competition they face from other players playing for the same position.
5. The positions they play
6. The number of minutes played in the game, and
7. The contribution of the player to the success of the game.
Andre Ayew followed up his blistering brace at home to Liverpool with another goal and an assist at the Uptown Park to end West Ham United’s Champions League qualification hopes.
The in-form Ghana international doubled the Swans lead with his 11th of the season before selflessly setting up Bafetimbu Gomis for the fourth strike in a 4-1 away triumph.
Junior brother Jordan Ayew, continues to illuminate the Villa Park in another impressive outing for the 24 year old despite his club being already relegated.
Alhassan Wakasu, Alfred Duncan and Frank Acheampong team up for the three man midfield that has Nana Asare, John Boye, Samuel Inkoom and Jeff Schlup at the back.
The crocked Adam Kwarasey beats Muntari Tagoe to the post after the former shipped three goals in the last 10 minutes of their CAF Confederation Cup tie against Sundowns in South Africa.
