Our Target Is To Continue Winning - Robin Gnange

Accra Hearts of Oak captain Robin Gnange has said the aim of the team is to win every match they go into and believes they are good enough for the Ghana Premier League title.

The Phobians continued with their impressive away run this season as they posted a slim 1-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.

Samuel Yeboah scored the only goal of the game to hand Hearts a first ever win over Chelsea in their own backyard and, at the same time, end their four year unbeaten record at home in the league.

Speaking after the game, Gnange said the team has no secrets when it comes to away games but rather target to win every game they go into.

On the win over Chelsea, the Ivorian said, “The game was a good game. Chelsea is a good team and we are a good team as well. We prepared very well for the game and we went there to get a victory by fighting very hard. We are very happy with the victory”.

“We motivated ourselves and the coach talked to us and that motivated us as well to give of our best in this difficult game,” he added.

“Our target is to win every match; it is not any secret [that we are performing better away] but it is just that we are working hard for the victory.”

With the win, Hearts moved to the top of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) with 21 points after 11 games, one point better than former leaders Wa All Stars who lost 1-3 to Techiman City also on Sunday.

They will next play Sekondi Hasaacas at the Accra Sports Stadium in their next GPL game, and, will be confident of posting another win to maintain top position on the log.
