Victor Valdez has had his loan spell at Standard Liege terminated.
The Spaniard joined the Belgian side in January after being exiled by Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.
However, his time at Standard was also frustrating as he was limited to just eight appearances, although he did help them win the Belgian Cup.
The 34-year-old is currently sidelined through injury and Standard have decided to cut short his spell at the club as they look to give their younger players a chance in their remaining games.
