Spanish born Ghananaian forward Innaki Williams came off the bench to provide a crucial assist in Athletic’s 2-1 come back win over Celta Vigo at the San Mames.
The explosive forward missed the last match for Ernesto Valverdo’s men due to a knock but returned to gun down Celta at the Cafederal.
The 22 year old Basque based rampant forward came on as 60 minutes replacement for Iker Munian before sumptuously setting up Raul Garcia for the match winner 12 minutes on his arrival.
Celta Vigo shot into a well deserved 1-0 lead at the San Mames but series of persistent pressure from the host leveled the clash before recess.
Valverdo then unleashed his attacking sensation for the ineffective Munian and the Ghanaian showed why he was tied down to a new improved deal with a delicious ball for Raul Garcia to put the host ahead on the 72nd minute.
Athletic remains within distance of Champions league football next with 58 points and just three adrift of forth place Villarreal on the Spanish Premeira division.
