Accra Hearts of Oak will trek to the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday, hoping to keep their leadership of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) intact after 13 games.
They will take on the might of Aduana Stars who are second on the log, in the topmost liner of this weekend’s round of matches in the GPL.
The Phobians are the only unbeaten side in the competition away from home, and, remain confident that they will keep that record going after Sunday’s game.
Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has expressed the readiness of his charges for the game, acknowledging that it will be a very tough assignment, but, one they are ready for.
He will hope to guide the Phobians to their eighth win of the campaign and their fifth on the road in a game most of their fans are confident of winning.
However, in Aduana Stars, they will come up against perhaps the most inform team of the campaign presently, and, will be difficult to beat in front of their home fans.
Aduana Stars under their Romanian trainer, Coiaba Aristica, have won their last five games in the GPL, and, will go top of the table if they can make it a sixth.
They have the leader’s joint top scorer Yahaya Mohammed in their fold, and, he will seek to cause havoc for the Hearts defence as he attempts to add to the nine goals he has scored so far.
Hearts Captain, Robin Gnange has however said he will lead a very strong defence in keeping him quiet on the day, and, it remains to be seen how that will play out.
The battle lines have therefore been drawn for a tough and uncompromising encounter at Dormaa in this top-of-the-table clash in the GPL on Sunday.
