Liverpool have unveiled their new home kit for the 2016/17 season.
Jordan Henderson, Philippe Coutinho, Simon Mignolet, Jon Flanagan and Liverpool Ladies’ Gemma Bonner and Natasha Harding modelled the new kit in a live event outside the Royal Liver Building.

The strip, made by American sportswear giant New Balance, features a tribute to the 96 Liverpool fans who lost their lives in theHillsborough disaster in 1989.
The shirt is predominantly red, but has some neat yellow trim to complement it.

The logos of manufacturer New Balance, sponsor Standard Chartered and the Liverpool crest are all prominent in yellow on the shirt.
Speaking at the launch, skipper Jordan Henderson admitted he was impressed with the strip.
“I think it’s nice. There’s a few different things, he said.
“The side vents are meant to help us cool down – but that’s not working right now.”
Philippe Coutinho added: “It is special when I see kids with my name on the back of their shirt. It’s my inspiration.”
