Yussif Chibsah Suffers Relegation In Serie A

Italy based Ghanaian midfielder Yussif Rahman Chibsah suffered relegation from the Serie B after a 0-1 home reverse to Sassoulo.

The 23 year old Frosinone defensive midfielder enjoyed a hugely successful season in the top flight on a personal level but recent run of dreadful results pushed his side into the second tier of Italian football.

Frosinone ended their one season stint in the Serie A after a 0-1 reverse at the hands of the over achieving Sassoulo.

Mateo Polito came off the bench to clinch the only goal of the game with 5 minutes to regulation time which eventually proved fatal for the host.

Ghanaian compatriot Alfred once again bossed affairs from the middle of the pitch for Sassoulo as they continue their quest for European football.

Yussif Chibsah made 23 appearances for Frosinone since joining from Sassoulo at the start of the season.

The Ghanaian could be joined in the second tier by Isaac Coffie, whose Carpi side look destined to demotion going into the final weekends in the Serie A.
