Ghana Premier League (GPL) debutants, Dreams FC could part company with head coach Charles Kwabena Akunnor soon.
The Kweiman-based club started the 2015-16 GPL on a blistering form, but have had zigzag results in the last four matches.
The club suffered their heaviest defeat (0-4) last weekend against Aduana Stars, and Coach Akunnor shirked responsibility for the result.
It is believed his comments were unfortunate, and the club is unhappy he apportioned blames for the loss.
The club believes their efforts will yield fruits if they work as team, thus, they despise the idea of pointing fingers at where the team failed.
Bashir Hayford on Monday (May 9, 2016) wrote to his employers for a 90-day sabbatical break from the club, and the hierarchy of Dreams are monitoring his situation at defending league champions, AshantiGold SC , and will crack the whip if they are convinced of requiring his services as a replacement for Coach Akunnor.
The former Ghana international led Dreams FC to qualify to the GPL as winners of Zone Three of the Division One League last season.
