Edwin Gyimah To Play Under New Manager At Orlando Pirates

South Africa based Ghanaian midfielder Edwin Gyimah is set to play under a new manager next season after the departure of Eric Tinkler from the Buccaneers bench.

The Orlando Pirates utility midfielder enjoyed a stellar campaign under the South African trainer last season but the dreadful form of the PSL side forced the Soweto giants into the transfer market.

Turkish trainer Muhsin Erturgal landed the managerial job of the PSL side on a three year deal ahead of the new topflight season in South Africa.

Erturgal enjoyed stints with Ajax Cape Town and Kaizer Chiefs to earn the trust of Pirates officials.

The 53-year-old former Turkish international will be task with resuscitating the sinking image of the Bucaneers after their dreadful 2015/16 PSL season.

Edwin Gyimah featured in 24 matches across the season as Orlando Pirates trailed champions Mamelodi Sundowns by an alarming 30 points at the end of the end of the season.
