Theophilus Nyame says Kotoko haven’t achieved anything yet, despite coming up from 16th place on the Premier League table on match day six to finish third at the close of the first round of the competition.
Kotoko at one stage dropped to the bottom of the league log after a chain of poor results under Coach David Duncan but the team fought back to occupy the third position on the table with 26 points – the same as second placed Aduana Stars and two points below Wa All Stars.
Theophilus Nyame in an interview told Asantekotokosc.com that even if the supporters were convinced that their team was on their way to win the league title, the players know they still have a lot of work to achieve that dream.
“Yes, we have found our rhythm and improved in all aspects of the game. We feel we are still not there. We are not playing at our best. We still have a lot of work to do if to win the title. We are not swollen headed because we lifted ourselves up from 16th to 3rd.
For us, the aim is to be at the top because that is where the champion will be crowned.” he said.
