Accra Hearts of Oak have sacked head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi, after the two parties agreed terms of ending their engagement by mutual consent.
The Japanese-born American coach has not been in the good books of his employers for some time now following a few misunderstandings during the first round of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.
According to a statement from the Club, the coach requested that his contract be terminated so that he attends a coaching course abroad, an action that many Hearts of Oak fans find it hard to believe.
It is no secret that Kenichi Yatsuhashi was not on best of friends terms with his employer and many thought that once the supposed meeting between the Board and the Management did not spell out his future then he was safe.
Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi helped Hearts of Oak to finish the first round of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League on the 4th position with 26 points, two points behind leaders Wa All Stars.
