Ibrahim Musah Yearns For More Playing Time At Hearts

Striker Ibrahim Musah is yearning for more playing time at Accra Hearts of Oak as he seeks to establish himself in the Phobians setup.

Musah is in his first season with the capital  club and has impressed so far in all the games he has featured in this season.

Hearts sit fourth on the Ghana Premier League (GPL) table, two points behind the leaders at the half way mark of the season.

His most famous output to date for the Phobians was the game with Inter Allies at the Tema Park where he came off the bench to score two late goals as Hearts came from behind to win 3-2 on the day.

And the player said he is eager to do more for his new club and has targeted the second round of the campaign to explode even further as he aims to make a huge mark in his first year at the club.

“I know I can do more than what I have done so far, and, I will take every opportunity that will be handed me hence,” Musah told the club’s official newspaper, the Hearts News.

He has scored three goals for the club in the league this season, and, wants to add to that number as Hearts continue to chase a first league title since the season of 2008/09.

“As a striker, I want to be in amongst the scorers on a regular basis, and, this is something I have been working on at training, hoping to translate it onto the field on match days at any given time”, he added.

He hopes to catch the attention of the technical team this second round and believes he is well placed to lead the Hearts attack in the challenge for silverware this season.

“I have trust and confidence in the technical team to deliver for the team, and, I will continue to work hard to capture their attention and will jump at any opportunity handed me to perform”.

He says he wants the trust and confidence of everyone associated with Accra Hearts of Oak, and promised to do his best for the club at any given opportunity.
