I am Still In Charge Of Kotoko - Duncan

David Duncan is adamant he he is the head coach of Asante Kotoko despite management asking him to ‘step aside until further notice’ about two months ago.

Duncan took charge of the Porcupine Warriors on match day 13 of the 2014-15 Ghana Premier League (GPL) after Mas-ud Didi Dramani was asked to go on ‘accumulated leave’.

However, David Duncan had a poor start to the 2015-16 league season which saw the record league champions rocked bottom of the table and was asked to step-aside by the club after match day 6 for his assistant Michael Osei to takeover.

There have been several attempts to resolve the impasse between the former Hearts of Oak boss and the club

But Sportscrusader.com understands that Duncan rejected  the compensation package proposed by the board on several occasions.

“I am still the coach of Kotoko unless you people know otherwise. I am on break, like any other worker goes on break,” he told Joy FM.

“Management asked me to go on break for  week and I will resume work soon.” He said.
