Richard Arthur Rubbishes Poor Quality Metre Ball

Wa All Stars talismanic forward Richard Arthur has rubbished reports on the poor quality of the metre branded football used by the professional league board.

The former Windy Professionals hitman jumped to the rescue of the media engulfed match day balls ahead of the return of the league.

The stoutly built goal poacher racked home 6 crucial goals in the first round of the season but has pledged to end the season in the 20 goal barrier.

Richard Arthur shielded the much talked about metre branded football but was quick to blame the poor pitches for the woes bedevilling the home based strikers.

“on the issue of the metre ball not been good enough for the game, I totally disagree to that notion. It is not true that the ball is of low quality, it is just that our pitches are not helping us. In my opinion, quality pitches will make up for this whole issue on the balls”, Richard Arthur told sports crusader.

The ex Windy Professionals hotshot earmarked a 20 goal barrier for himself at the end of the entire campaign.

” My first half campaign produced six goals but it has thought me enough to believe in my scoring prowess. I am looking at a 20 goal barrier for Richard Authur and a golden boot winner to match”, the confident attacker rounded.

Richard Arthur registered important strikes against Hearts of Oak, Kumasi Asante Kotoko , Berekum Chelsea among other culprits.
